I am current on all of my continuing education requirements. Additionally, I have presented on the topics of probate litigation & fiduciary priveledge issues, basics of estate administration, spousal rights, and transfers & distributions at the OSBA.

Estate Planning: Mark assists clients in the development and implementation of a wide variety of estate plans. He has experience in tax, probate avoidance and asset protection planning strategies. Additionally, Mark advises clients in choice of entity matters, including the creation and management of LLCs and family limited partnerships . Probate and Trust Administration: Mark frequently represents fiduciaries in all aspects of probate administration (estates and trusts) and serves as fiduciary in trust and estate matters; he also regularly represents trustees in non-probate administration (trust) matters. Mark also has extensive experience in the preparation of all necessary state and federal tax returns (estate tax, gift tax and fiduciary income tax) and represents fiduciaries before various tax authorities.

I have a general inclination to help people. I felt that becoming a lawyer would put me in a situation to do just that.
I was fortunate enough to get a law clerk job with the Probate Court early in my law school days. It was at that time that I came to recognize and fully appreciate how probate and estate matters impact lives and families. This area of law gives me the ability to assist my clients in some of the most important decisions they will make in this life.

My ideal client is someone who is attentive to detail and organized. Also, I like clients who are motivated and willing do some of the work on their case themselves to move the process along. That said, ultimately the ideal client is a client who has faith and trust in my ability and will follow recommendations.
I am a family man with two young children, and avid golfer. When I find the time, I enjoy reading anything that is sports-related.

The firm generally offers an initial consultation of approximatley thirty minutes at no charge to allow us an apportunity to discuss your case. Should you retain our law firm, any time beyond that initial thirty minutes would be billed at the hourly fee.
I typically do not require a retainer for most trust and estate administration cases.

My hourly rate is $260.00
