Why did you decide to become an attorney?
Initially, I was following in the footsteps of my father, who practices insurance law. It turns out that the apple does fall far from the tree in this instance, because I ended up representing accident victims instead of insurance companies! I respect my dad's distinguished career path, I simply took a different direction.
What makes your law firm unique?
Our firm often often takes difficult cases that other lawyers have turned away. Some of these cases have turned out to be the most successfully-litigated cases of my career. Despite difficult legal or factual issues, we are willing to work through obstacles and put in the time necessary to prepare a case for trial. We are also very honest with our clients and we will not lead them down the path toward litigation if we know that it will not be worth their time and money.
Describe your ideal client.
The ideal client is one that will work hand in hand with us cooperatively to litigate his or her case. We make communication with the client a top priority and we attempt to involve the client as much as possible in the important decisions that must be made in a case.
Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
I am the wife of a successful jazz musician, Bryan Olsheski, and the mother of an adorable eight-month-old girl, Ani. Between the two of them, they keep me very busy. Before I was sidelined by a back injury, I was an avid runner, competing in track and cross country at the collegiate varsity level.
