My areas of practice are domestic (divorce, dissolution, child custody) and employment discrimination law.
After law school, I practiced law in Huntington, West Virginia, where my focus was general litigation and medical malpractice. I spent the majority of time in the courtroom. I moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 1999, where I continued my practice in general litigation. As I became more experienced, I became more interested in employment and domestic law. Now that I have opened my new practice, I am able to focus on both those areas of law.
A civil rights case against the City of Columbus in Grizzel, et al. v. City of Columbs, Division of Police An Americans with Disabilities case against a hospital in Hall, et al. v. Memorial Hospital, et al. Represented an employer in a sexual harassment case in Wolf v. H & S Forest

In my years of practice, I have had quite a bit of experience in the courtroom. I have done several jury trials as well as presented oral arguments on motions before judges. Additionally, my husband is also a lawyer and discussing legal concepts with him is very helpful.
My law practice focuses on domestic and employment law. My clients are either going through a divorce or having problems with their employment. In other words, they are going through a stressful transition in their lives. I believe that I am compassionate, understanding, caring, and non-judgmental, and I really help my clients get through difficult times in their lives.
I believe that it is really important to educate my clients about their cases and to communicate with them regularly. Unlike some law firms, I return my phone calls from clients within 24 hours.
My favorite clients are the ones who communicate with me about their cases and listen to my advice.
I enjoy lifting weights and running.
I am involved with the organization called Vision and Vocational Services of Central Ohio. This organization assists persons with visual or other disabilities by enhancing their quality of life and increasing their independence.
