Why did you decide to become an attorney?
In college I studied computer programming. Programming allowed me to formulate
an idea, prepare a strategy, and then construct my idea from the bottom up.
Shortly before graduation I realized that I would not be content sitting behind a
computer all day. The practice of law, I thought, would allow me the same creative
freedom that I desired while also providing the personal interaction that I was
missing.
What makes your law firm unique?
In my experience, clients crave one-on-one attention from their lawyer... not a
secretary, not a paralegal, and not an associate.
My clients have virtually unrestricted access to me at all times. I answer the
phones. I return the calls. I receive emails immediately. When I leave the office,
my office phones are forwarded to my cell phone.
I practice only in the area of family law and accept only a limited number of cases.
You will have my undivided attention.
Describe your ideal client.
The bricks of a successful case are provided by the client. The lawyer simply
provides the mortar.
My clients will provide me with the information that I request in a timely manner.
They will appear for conferences and hearings in a timely manner and return calls
as soon as reasonably possible.
If a client is unwilling to help himself or herself, there is little help that a lawyer can
provide.
